Aigen is an early-stage, global venture capital fund investing in regenerative technology companies that are restoring our planet. As part of our business, Aigen may collect and hold personal information of the people we interact with including, but not limited to; founders, investors, job seekers, website visitors, suppliers and service providers.
This Privacy Policy details our commitment to protecting the privacy of personal information provided to us, or otherwise collected by us, when providing our services. In this Privacy Policy, we, us or our means ReGen Ventures Management Pty Ltd (ABN 95 638 202 427) and all of its subsidiaries and affiliates.

This Privacy Policy outlines how we process, use and protect your information and how we comply with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Act 1998 (Cth), the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”) as well as:
  • the types of personal information we collect
  • how we collect and hold personal information
  • how we use your personal information
  • when we disclose your personal information
  • disclosure of your personal information outside of Australia
  • your right of access, correction and restriction
  • complaints process and method of handling any enquiry
Personal Information means information (and in Australia includes an opinion), whether true or not and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable.

It is important to us that you feel comfortable with how we process your personal information and that you read and understand this privacy policy before you use any of our services. You should not use any of our services if you do not approve of how we process your personal information. Types of personal information we collect

As part of our business activities we may collect and hold your personal information including:
  • name and contact details including email address, mobile number and address
  • dates of birth;
  • financial information (if you invest in our fund);
  • career history including areas of expertise;
  • disclosure of your personal information outside of Australia
  • information required for AML/CTF purposes (if you invest in our fund); and
  • government identifiers (such as your TFN where necessary and relevant, which you can decline to quote).
We may collect **Sensitive Information* about you, with your consent. Sensitive Information is a sub-set of personal information that is given a higher level of protection under the Australian Privacy Principles. Sensitive information means information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, trade union or other professional associations or memberships, philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation or practices, criminal records, health information or biometric information. Provided you consent, your sensitive information may only be used and disclosed for purposes you have consented to or which are directly related to the primary purpose for which the sensitive information was collected, including:
  • for the purpose of us maintaining a comprehensive company file;
  • for the purpose of information compilation or analysis for internal purposes; and
  • in an anonymised format for the purpose of information compilation or analysis to share with third parties.
Sensitive information may also be used or disclosed if required or authorised by law.
